Turtle Bale
Tortoises need a lot of quality fiber and low levels of plant proteins in their diets. One of the healthiest items we can offer to our tortoises are good quality hays.
We've take the trouble out of mixing your own Bermuda and Orchard Grass Hays, by creating the "Turtle Bale."
The Turtle Bale is 50% Fresh Bermuda grass, and 50% Fresh Orchard grass, chopped and mixed for your convenience.
Turtle bales are available in one and five pound packages.

Bermuda Grass Bale
Bermuda grass hay is a good clean hay with a high fiber, low protein content which offers excellent nutrition and soft, edible bedding!
Our Bermuda is grown locally and is freshly harvested, is very soft, and virtually dust-free, without long woody stems commonly seen in lower quality hay.
Pre-packaged hays sold in the pet store for rabbits often sit in a warehouse for long periods of time and are subject to moisture, mold, and deterioration.
We package only the freshest hay in a re-closable plastic bag to preserve freshness.

Orchard Grass Bale
You won't find fresher, softer Orchard Grass Hay .
Orchard Grass Hay is a wonderful forage grass hay for tortoises. It is very soft, high in fiber and low in protein. It has a wonderful, sweet odor that most any tortoise will find irresistible.
Allowing your animals to graze on Orchard Grass (and other grasses) is essential to healthy intestinal function.
We package only the freshest hay in a reusable plastic bag to preserve freshness.
